More Traffic With Landing Pages, How So?

News Alert: Your home page may not be the most viewed page on your website.

The content on your homepage is very important, but it’s only the first step. If you want to bring traffic to your site, “landing pages” is the answer.

A Landing Page is the first destination a visitor “lands” after clicking on a link or advertisement. This is a tested and proven internet marketing strategy. The main goal of a landing page is to produce a “conversion,” whether it is a sign-up, sale or lead. By optimizing your landing pages and sending traffic to the right landing pages, you can significantly impact your site’s revenue.

Depending on their search criteria, potential customers may bypass your home page entirely. Therefore, you should tailor each page toward one of your products or services. By tracking the traffic of these pages, you get feedback on how to hone in on the messages and offers that are most effective without having to constantly tinker with the rest of your website.

When you are ready to build a landing page or optimize existing ones-here are a few tips to keep in mind.

* Define your conversion. Before you design your landing page, define that page’s conversion activity. Ensure each step in the conversion process either states or supports your website’s proposition. For example: With a newsletter landing page, the conversion activity is entering an email address into a form and clicking accept.

* Give the visitor what they are searching for. Most people are looking for quick answers to their questions or solutions to their problems. This is not your homepage. The information that you provide should be compelling and relevant to the search terms that brought the visitor there. If a visitor is searching for information about “weight loss,” the landing page should talk about weight loss and how your website addresses it.

* Keep the form simple. The fewer fields, the more likely someone will fill them out. Landing pages should provide solutions, not inundate visitors with more to think about. Make the input cursor jump to the next field, and allow users to tab around fields. Auto-populate any fields you can. Don’t ask for city, state or province if you ask for a ZIP or postal code.

* Stay focused. Avoid promoting or linking to other areas of your site. The point of the landing page is to prevent your visitor from wandering.

* Keep focus above the ‘fold.’ Pay attention to the virtual fold (the bottom of the screen before scrolling). Place enough content above the fold to allow your visitor to make a decision about continuing on the site. If a visitor has to click or scroll to figure out what your website offers, the only thing they’ll click is the “back” button.

* Improve readability. Make your landing site simple to figure out how to convert. Place the important information (whether it’s your copy or image) close to the middle. Never distract the user from that focal point. Customers tend to interpret “dead” space or too many graphics as the end of the information. Also, try to reduce the number of columns for easy readability. Make your links blue and underlined. Use black type on white background in a 12-point font or larger. Make buttons stand out through size and color. Use action text on buttons such as, “Click here to receive your free ebook.”

* Provide multiple response methods. You should determine what your website’s single goal is before designing a landing page. Then, develop your landing page for that purpose. If you would like to give visitors the ability to respond in ways beyond the form- such as: emailing you or calling you (some give out Skype numbers, etc.) then make the contact information and calls-to-action prominent.

* Test and test again. The only reliable way to improve your landing page performance is to test it. Test the entire user experience and ask yourself these questions:

1. Is there a focus on the whole page?
2. Does the message match the advertisement?
3. Did you eliminate all distractions?
4. Are there enough conversion exits?
5. Does the landing page enhance your website’s image?

Carefully design your landing page as described above while keeping it simple and to the point. With your appropriately targeted landing page, your website visitors will convert into customers. An effective landing page will be one of your best draws for the traffic you so desire.

Kidnapping Commission hidden in your web page design!

As a person almost obsessed with web marketing, I am often disagree with my friends on the web site designer for what is important. They know that I love and I mean no offense and all is well.

For all Webmasters particularly those with sales commissions of other people's products, design flaws web really hurts. Here are some common and some defects not so frequent that they can steal commissions hide your affiliate links from visitors without their knowledge, to send visitors to landing pages reduce harm your sites search engine ranking and wasting your valuable time on maintenance and monitoring.

The resolution of these defects creates a clear path to Web design more productive and higher commissions.

1-404 diseases.

Test your site for this widespread disease and deadly disease that keeps sending your prospects to land ever 404 server. Go to the homepage of the website, which in our case title = "> http://www.askdomain.com "http://www.askdomain.com. Then add a bar and some time after the main URL. For example," emailmarketing.html. " The complete URL of this example is http://www.askdomain.com/emailmarketing.html

What do you see? Our home page, right?

Now go to your own website and repeat the process. Enter a URL Web site page that you know does not exist. Do you see an error message related to 404? If so, your site is difficult to lose traffic and customers earned potential. Contact your web hosting provider that will help remedy this place and a custom error message in place. An error message 404 custom display your marketing message or redirects these lost visitors to your page.

2 – long affiliate links and ad blockers

long links Affiliate always create problems, especially when they are broken in email campaigns. But now there is a greater threat: the ads blocking. These sequences control lock to see their ads and affiliate links and banners, assume that the customer does not want to see and completely block the view. The dark humor is your your stats banners and links are displayed, but visitors do not see them. What impact will their sales and commissions?

The most popular Internet Security and Firewall software comes with default blocking ads on! Most if not all users will never take the time to close because of you or me.

This blessing, forcing us to solve several marketing problems in the same time. The solution is quite simple and is done in four stages.

Step A – Create an internal directory and call something like merchants or resources. We use "find" in one of our websites.

http://www.dailyfinder.com/find/

Step Two – Create a page named after the merchant. In this case, called "the business end of websites." The full URL Appearance of the following:

http://www.dailyfinder.com/find/the-business-end-of-websites-v19605.htm

Third stage – inside your page, you can place a redirect code to. So, instead of displaying a link to:

http://www.prowebvalue.com/?hop=optiword

You find a link:

http://www.dailyfinder.com/find/the-business-end-of-websites-v19605.htm

Of course, in this example we use a little more sophisticated and websites database and that is why you see these strange codes "v19605".

Go ahead and test in the URL, you will not see any difference in fate, but the ad blockers can not block the former but not the second. You can lose one and commissions are paid with others. There was no significant difference, do not you think?

This process will also improve domestic basis word association, we will discuss later in the articles.

3 – Published work in progress

Do not use your project site as a Web Archive work in progress. Each time you do your work in progress or the script page on your website, you may have them included in the search engines. Go to Google and type:
Site: www.yourwebsite.com

At the risk of doing too obvious, I should mention that in the URL above, I mean, to replace the term "yourwebsite" with your current website.

See the list. Are these pages you have listed in search engines? Click on some links do not stop not in the error 404?

Remember that each page of your site unproductive, can replace a productive and completed the page on Google and other search directories. Can you see the damage it can cause? Yes, you can always recover but how long will it take?

Work currently not part of your website. Complete their projects before putting them online.

Caution – Before you remove a page, make sure you have a copy of security and its measurement error 404 is in place.

4 – Lack robots.txt file.

Certain directories and files are necessary for the operation your website, but have no commercial value that you want to announce to the world. text file robots.txt tells the search engines to leave these files are not only and forefinger and Internet browsers.
For example, the image of your telephone directory or policy contains nothing of value to say visit the engines Research does not bother with them. An example of a robots.txt file that excludes these directories is as follows:

User-agent: *
Disallow: / images /
Disallow: / policy /

For more details, see http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/norobots.html

Do you have a robots.txt file on your site?

In May, two pages of the site and the days of your life is productive.

Facebook As marketing platform

Facebook As marketing platform

Facebook is an amazing advertising platform although most businesses still unaware that many firms are getting business from face book successfully. Some Factor you should consider if you are looking for business through social media sites like Face book.

If Facebook advertising works (and it does), why arent more business using it as an effective advertising or recruitment tool?

Facebook is an effective tool to build successful campaigns.

Firstly some quick stats; these stats are always changing (for the better), but, in a nutshell, Facebook can rightly be called a phenomenon with 200 million active users, 18 million of those return daily. And its popularity is spread across all age groups; 12% of users are aged between 13-17, 29% aged 18 to 24, 30% aged 25- 34 and 29% aged 35 and above. This demographically even split makes Face book an amazing prospect for business advertising.

Face book enables advertisers to only show ads to those targeted users who would be interested based on the detailed information captured by each user. The key to Face book advertising is knowing and understanding your target demographic and making sure you reach them with adverts that resonate and are relevant. So the first action is to work out who you want to reach and build a targeted campaign against that demographic. Think about the possibilities here for who you want to reach and how they would register their interests on Face book the opportunities are endless.
5 factors you should keep in mind when you decided to start Face book advertising campaigns:

1. Make Your Ads Campaign Specific.

So many businesses make the mistake of creating a general business ad with details of their company as a whole. The more specific the ad, the easier it will be for the viewer to decide whether it is relevant to them. Increasing relevant and cutting out irrelevant clicks. It will also allow you to more clearly specify your key demographic i.e. age group, gender, interests.

Create an ad for each specific product/service you provide.

For example: For a Search engine marketing institute instead of creating institute profile ad they should create ads for their separate courses e.g. a Pay per click management course ad with specific details about that course. This leads onto what you do with people when they get onto your site

2. Think Carefully About The Ad Landing Page
You could have the best ad in the world but if the viewer isn’t taken to a landing page that matches the ad copy, they’ll lose interest. If you are recruiting land on the relevant work for us page. If you are a institute looking to increase enrolments, land on the right course page.

3. Make Your Ads Emotive

Create a reason for the user to click on your advertisement. Remember you are targeting ads to their interests. Ask your visitor a questionnaire.

For example: A further Search Engine Marketing institute may ask Do you want to be a Search engine Optimization professional? When alluding to their Search engine marketing course. Use strong emphasizes tags for Making bold statements that grab the Visitor attention will always gain you more clicks. Be daring as well as informative with your ad copy and you’ll definitely get a higher click through rate.

4. Choose a Memorable Picture

Facebook allows you to include a picture with your ad. Your company logo won’t always gain maximum clicks. Good innovative and ad specific pictures get more clicks than anything else, but images that closely relate to your product are always a good choice.

5. Be Competitive and Realistic with your Bids

Although quite self-explanatory it is important to take note that you can run your advertisement for a specific time period and can specify the date and time the campaign starts and finishes. Impressions are the number of times your advert is displayed on face book. Ensure your daily budget and cost per click is both competitive and realistic. It may take a certain amount of trial and error to gauge the right bid per click and you should start at face books suggested bid when you first start listing your ad.

Facebook advertising can be extremely cost effective and a valuable advertising platform if used with thought and care. Dont be afraid to be imaginative when writing your ad copy and choosing your picture and monitor your click through rate carefully as this will be a good indicator for how well your ads are performing and how much you should bid per ad. If you want more detailed help with setting up a facebook advertising campaign or want information on our flat fee recruitment service please get in touch.

Facebook is an amazing advertising platform although most businesses dont know how to use it effectively. Heres some key considerations to take into account when advertising on Facebook

Create Prospect-Friendly Online Marketing Forms – Stop Losing Leads!

How many times have you clicked on a link to download content that interests you only to be faced with a form approaching the length of your IRS tax return? What most folks do next, according to my informal personal survey, is to hit the browser’s back button. Your prospects are eager to read your content and they’re even open to learning more about your products. They may or may not be interested in purchasing anything today but you’ll never know because your ominous form asking for everything except your mother’s social security number scared them away. That’s one less lead and one less sale. Technology companies, especially software vendors, are frequently the biggest culprits of “form over-kill.”

An example of online forms gone bad

Let’s look at a hypothetical company with a standard approach to online forms in their marketing. Software Company, Inc. has a reasonably professional web site where they host whitepapers, demos, webinars and free trials of their software. Software Company Inc.’s web guy (we’ll call him Bob to protect the innocent) insists that forms are tricky to build and insists that the marketing manager (we’ll call her Laura to protect anyone called Mary) must create just one form for each call to action. The marketing manager is feeling pressure from the sales team to provide highly qualified leads. The marketing manager is no dummy and knows that the more prospect information she can gather, the happier they will be, right? (Stay tuned for the nuanced correct answer to that question).

So, what does Laura’s form look like?: First Name, Last Name, Title, Company, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, State, Zip, Email, Phone. But that’s not all. The more information on the lead, the happier sales will be, right? So, she adds a survey, which she figures will also impress the Executive team when she sorts the data to create a snapshot of prospects and existing customers me who raise their hands. These are the survey questions that Sue believes would provide valuable company data for sales: What industry? How many employees? Annual Revenues? etc. etc. ad nauseam. The cherry on the cake is that Bob makes all the fields forced – meaning the prospect or customer MUST answer all the questions before hitting submit to get to that piece of content, demo or trial software.

In the age of 140 character attention span, what percentage of prospects who reach Software Company Inc.’s form are likely to complete it versus hit the back browser? The scientific answer = not many.

Of course, that was a slightly exaggerated and worst-case scenario for how- not- to manage your online forms. You are undoubtedly more cognizant than Sue that the use of forms and how to construct them for different calls-to-action plays a vital role in your interaction with prospects as well as effective lead generation.

The reality is that there are different approaches to online forms depending on the call-to-action or content and how each of them is marketed. The golden rule is to consider who you are trying to reach, how you are reaching them and then customize your forms to meet your goals.

If I were consulting for Software Company Inc., I’d sit down with Laura and Bob and ask them to diligently assess the goals of their online calls-to-action. Who specifically are you trying to attract and what are your expectations for lead volume? Based on their feedback I would offer specific recommendations on how to customize their approach to online forms for a better user experience and more qualified leads.

The key elements you need to consider when you’re creating online forms

Value of the content/call-to-action

High value: High value content is typically proprietary and involves a monetary investment, such as development or conducting research. It provides significant benefits, or higher perceived value to your target audience. An example is a whitepaper that is extremely timely in providing critical information to help your prospect or customer improve their business or do their job. For instance, a whitepaper on new Federal, state or local government legislation that is directly allied with your software solution. In my personal corporate experience in a variety of software and services categories, there is always an opportunity to create such high-value whitepapers, whether it is a horizontal or vertical industry message.

Low value: Product specific whitepapers, product demos, webinars and podcasts are typically lower value content most of the time. Although you may have invested money and resources to create them and they are invaluable tools to help you create interest and generate leads, they are not of intrinsic high value to your prospects.

High or low value: Trialware and promotional offers or discount can be either high or low value depending on what you are offering.

Expected Lead Volume

Develop forecasts on what you expect in lead volume from each call-to-action, even if it’s a generic whitepaper. Forecast by month and don’t be afraid to share your expectations with your sales team. If you’re offering a webinar on a regular monthly basis you will be able to predict responses over time and adjust lead goals if you make changes in how you market the webinar, e.g. if you do an email campaign drop in addition to just promoting the webinar on your web site. Here’s the nuanced answer to the question about sales wanting as much information as possible on a lead: they do but not if you can show them how many prospects are frightened away by a litany of questions on a marketing form.

Desired quality of lead

Not all leads are created equal. It is OK to balance your marketing between calls-to-action that will create a few very high quality leads and others that will provide a lot of responses but a lower proportion of highly qualified leads. You certainly want to weed out as many tire-kickers as possible but you also have to factor in your sales cycle and the lifetime value of a converted lead.

When to use a long form, short form or no form at all

Long forms have more fields for contact and profile gathering, more forced fields and may include a survey.

Short forms require the minimal fields necessary to meet your objectives for a specific call-to-action.

No form requires no definition.

I have spent several years accumulating wisdom on the usage of online forms and seen new trends emerge. In my real-world experience managing corporate web sites and being deeply involved in all response mechanisms including tailored online forms, here are some general rules of thumb when it comes to the use of long forms, short forms or no forms at all.

Long form: Use a long form for high value content. If you’re offering this content to both new prospects and customers through separate marketing activities or mediums use a pared down long form for your customers. Customers will be offended if you’re asking for contact information that you should already have. In either case, be judicious on forced fields. Consider requiring only name, company name and email from prospects. Some people will fill out some or even all of the optional fields. The plus side is that you get an indicator of a high level of interest when more voluntary fields are filled out. You can then flag these as “A” leads for your sales team.

Short form: This is ideal for the bulk of your low value content downloads, demos and webinars. It is also the best form to use for most online calls-to-action in email or direct marketing campaigns. First Name, Last Name, Title, Company Name and Email is a reasonable threshold for most prospects. Be careful about asking for a Phone Number and never force that field on a short form. Leave it optional. People will back out of even a short form if they believe that you’re going to harass them with calls. When promoting content on your Facebook business page I recommend the skinniest of forms (email only – for subsequent marketing but don’t forget opt-out regulations) or no form at all.

Note: If you’re promoting a download in an email campaign you can pre-populate a hidden field in the form with a unique marketing tracking code (sometimes referred to as media code or promo code).

No form: I am a big believer in allowing a content download for low value content without asking any questions at all. You may not get a tangible lead for sales to follow up on immediately but you will be able to track effectiveness by monitoring download volume. Try using no form at all for a content download from your web site where you previously used a form. Check the before and after download counts. A landing page tied to a specific email marketing campaign is an ideal opportunity to do an A/B test on using no form versus a short form, especially since you can track activity if you are using a unique URL. At first it takes some faith to not use any form for a call-to-action. Remember that, in addition to download stats, you will have sales feedback on the origin of a lead that will be part of your measurements.

Tracking the effectiveness of your online forms

Whether you use a long form or a short form, check your open rates and compare with form completes. This will give you an indication if you need to shorten your long form or reduce the number and type of forced fields. Conversely, test adding more fields to your short form if you have a very high completion rate and have an interest in gathering some additional data – but only if it is truly meaningful data that expands your marketing opportunities.

Testing, tracking and analyzing the results you are getting from your online forms is critical to ensuring you are keeping the right balance of interest in your content along with leads for actionable follow up. Match the results against your objectives and adjust the forms when you can clearly see trends in response rates and quality of the leads.

If prospects are backing away from your online forms, you’re needlessly losing leads. Engaging with your customers and prospects extends to every communication and interaction. That includes your marketing forms. Taking the time to create the most appropriate and least invasive forms demonstrates that you value your prospects’ interest in your products and services more than just grabbing their contact information. A pleasant online experience builds credibility, trust and ultimately generates more leads and more customers.

Does anyone know how to use the Thesis Theme for Wordpress to make like a Landing Page or Squeeze Page?

I’m trying to make the Thesis Theme work really well for like making Squeeze Pages and stuff for affiliate offers, but it is way too complicated. Any suggestions?

Well first of all I would make sure to download Thesis Openhook. Openhook is a great free plugin that will help you modify Thesis a lot more easily then with the custom programming.

There are a lot of really good tutorials for extending DIYThemes’ Thesis Theme to do just about anything you could want. Personally, I think wordpresslandingpage.com does a nice job of providing some skins for Thesis.

If you have problems, you can always use the Thesis Theme support community (it’s free after you buy Thesis).

Hope that helps.

Nine Tips to Make Sure Your Paid Search Marketing Costs You as Much as Possible

I don’t know if you’ve heard, people, but we are in a recession. Unemployment is on the rise…profits are on the decline…and everybody is going to have to do their part – do their part to preserve the profitability of Google and every other online advertising company. So here are my top nine tips for making sure that you waste as much money as possible on your pay per click campaigns. Google needs you…and your money. So let’s get going!

1. Send all traffic to your home page. Always assume that a person arriving at your home page can find his way to the actual information he was looking for. Make your visitors click as many different links as possible to get to their destination. Make a game out of it.

2. Give your visitors lots and lots of options. The more different buttons and links there are to click, the better. Make your site as confusing as possible to navigate.

3. Always, ALWAYS bid for the number one ad spot. Being number one should be your top priority above any other consideration, such as return on investment. Don’t be a wimp.

4. Use vague, broad keywords. The less specific, and the less relevant to your actual business, the better. Avoid keywords that would be used by someone nearly ready to make a purchase.

5. Write generic, boring ads that do not use the keywords in the headline or copy. And never, ever use dynamic keyword insertion. It just makes the ads match up too well with the keywords.

6. Only run one ad for each of your ad groups. Who knows your customers or market better than you? If you think you know what ad copy will be most effective in generating clicks or conversions, just go with your gut. Split-testing is too much work.

7. Run your account wide open. Make sure your ads are online 24 hours a day in every possible market. This is branding, man! Get your name out there!

8. Never look at your account statistics. Just assume that your account is doing great and generating leads or sales. After all, you set it up, so it must be right!

9. Only advertise on Google. You enjoy drinking the king of beers, and you only advertise on the king of search engines. Why spend all that time trying out different platforms?

Follow these nine tips and you will be guaranteed to give Google lots of your money and see as little as possible in results. So whip out that credit card and let’s get started running some ads!

It should be obvious that if you actually want to have SUCCESS in your pay per click marketing, you should pretty well do the opposite of everything listed above. Unfortunately, the above tips actually describe the way many inexperienced business owners or marketers run their pay per click accounts. Forget about any long list of tips. Here is a piece of advice that succinctly summarizes how to be successful with pay per click:

Be specific and test everything.

In other words, be specific with your keywords, ad copy, and Landing Page Copy. Test different advertising platforms, ad types, ad positions, ad copy and landing page copy. And watch your stats so that you will know the results of your testing. Good luck!

Web to Print: Gutenberg Online

Print, like Marketing, has gone online and digital. Technology makes them powerful allies!

Web-based Marketing

There is no question that the Internet has revolutionized the world of marketing. It has dramatically lowered Marketing’s cost per contact and significantly enhanced its reach. It not only provides new ways to contact potential customers, online marketing also encompasses digital management of customer data and support systems that facilitate customer relationship management. Web marketing’s most powerful feature, however, is its ability to provide direct and immediate customer feedback to the marketer as a driver of the Web 2.0 phenomenon.

Web-based Printing

Long time print industry veterans often cry the blues as they see many traditional print applications replaced by online and digital technologies, including “threats” like email marketing and more recently Web 2.0.  However these same technologies have driven a whole new generation of business communication opportunities, many of which still drive print.  Printing is not dead by a long shot, it has just changed format and the future of the print business now belongs to the nimble and the tech savvy – printers who understand the implications of Landing Pages, open rates, blogs and twitter.  Customers still have business communication challenges and still need innovative solutions, and in many cases the most effective solutions still involve ink (or toner!) on paper.  Online digital printing, or web-to-print, does not refer to a newer generation of Internet technology, but rather to the growing trend by business to take full advantage of the Internet by building applications and services around its unique features. Web-to-print applications are an integral part of this process, for both B2B and B2C markets.

What is Web-to-Print?

Web-to-print, also referred to as remote publishing, is the new typesetting and plate making – but without the typesetting and plate making! It refers to the use of a web interface to create, personalize, approve and distribute print-based marketing collateral. The promo piece can be a postcard, brochure, letter, flyer or even a large poster. The user logs into a secure online interface, chooses a specific print product from an online catalogue, selects an appropriate pre-designed template and then customizes the relevant areas of the piece by entering text, uploading personal images and graphics or selecting them from an online library (Digital Asset Manager).

The final piece is then approved, a delivery method selected and if a distribution list is needed it is uploaded from either a client list or an integrated online CRM platform. The job is paid for with a credit card, the shopping cart closed, sent to a digital printer for production and then delivered to the shipper, often within 48 to 72 hours.

How Does Web-to-Print Work?

Web-to-print is enabled by the web but is a result of the flexibility of the digital printing press. This print technology makes it possible for each printed impression to be unique. It dynamically merges the variable data from the client database with a digital template (Portable Document Format, or PDF) from the online library to complete the personalized document, eliminating the need for traditional printing setup (plates, films, chemicals). This variable data printing process enables thousands of individually customized pieces to be printed in one run, using digital presses such as the Hewlett-Packard Indigo, Xerox’s iGen and Eastman Kodak’s NexPress.

The power of web-enabled digital printing is its ability to support cost-effective personalization and one-to-one marketing, either as an individual personalized print project, a standalone mailing campaign or as a component of a multi-channel marketing strategy also involving web and email marketing.   Not bad for a “dying” industry!

Integrated Marketing That Leverages the Combined Strengths of Print and the Web

Printed direct mail or web-to-print can also be integrated with web response pages where recipients of print pieces produced online are provided with a unique “PURL” (Personalized URL). The PURL page can call the viewer to action in a number of ways including a request for online information or a follow-up contact, updating their contact information, answering a survey relating to the seller’s products and services, registering for a promotional incentive, or even providing a link directly to an ecommerce site where they can buy products.

Once the online PURL form is submitted the customer contact information, “click through” path and survey data are captured by the customer database / CRM platform, used to update the customer’s profile and preference records, and are immediately available to drive intelligent personalization in new printed or online marketing campaigns. Analysis of this data (Analytics) provides an unprecedented opportunity for integrated and highly personalized marketing campaigns, leading to better response rates and new revenue opportunities.

The “old” and the “new” don’t need to be at loggerheads when it comes to communication strategies; leveraging the strengths of print and the web together in an integrated strategy actually delivers a broader reach and stronger results than the individual technologies on their own.

Please judge my idea for web site?

I thought of this yesterday when I am making my web site:

I named it “Neverwas Land”
- is it the same as some novel or story ?

At the homepage, I make a map, which part are the pages I link to, like -> “Koob Sea” form the word Book is for study (I make island for each of Math, Chemistry and Physics)
; “Inspirion Plain” form the word inspire for design (like web site template, graphic, icon, …)… to divide it into category:Study; Design; Idea; Ask (like an open FAQ)…

-is it alright, or sound awkward ? does it make navigation difficult ?

-if you want to comment my idea, fell free. Thank

Its magnigicient.

Using Landing Page Templates

If you purchase a landing page templates, probabilities are that you get a page which has lots of instructions to “place your title here”, “put your bullet points here” and so on.
Sometimes that’s almost as bad as having to come up with your own landing page template from scratch! Just what do you put in those boxes?
The headline is your principal opportunity to grab your reader’s attention. If you don’t have a punchy strap line, chances are your reader will click the back button and be gone forever.
Headlines sell.
Look at any paper. Or better still, National Enquirer.
What draws your attention?
It’s generally the press releases. They offer puzzle and intrigue. Providing they are nicely crafted, they make you need to read further, even if you are not fully curious about the subject.
If you are stuck for words for your landing page headline, go for some of the tried and tested phrases. “7 Systems You Never Knew About …”, that sort of thing. There are headline generator programs and books available which may give you lots more ideas.
After your title, you need some bullet points.
” List out the main benefits your clients will get from your products
” Give them a reason why your product or service is better than anyone else’s
” Offer them something free in return for letting you have their email address

Finally, place your e-mail up form somewhere plain. Ideally keep it “above the fold” so your user doesn’t have to scroll down the net page to find it. That’s why a lot of landing page templates you see will have a headline at the top, a list of bullet points on the left and a signup box on the right. This keeps them nice and compact and increases the chance of patrons signing up.

Why Affiliates Need Landing Pages

All the products that you want to sell online are ready. You have already signed up with the Google Adsense program or with other affiliate marketing programs and you have already prepared the ad you want to post on your affiliate’s site. Your mind is now set to being the next most successful online businessman. But is there anything else that you might have forgotten to prepare? Maybe none. But how about your landing pages? Are they all set for your business?

Landing pages are simply web pages where visitors are directed to whenever they click a result in a web search or whenever they click a web ad. For affiliate marketing, landing pages would refer to the web page where you, as a merchant, would want your potential customer to be directed after clicking your ad on your affiliate’s website. Landing pages are, at most times, nothing really different from other web pages in a particular website, especially if the said website is an e-commerce site. Some online businessmen would even use the homepage of their websites as the Landing Page for their ads. Are these businessmen making a big mistake? Or should you follow their method in creating landing pages for their ads?

Well, you can always follow what most online retailers do, directing their potential customers to the homepages of their websites. But if you want to achieve something more from your online business, and if you want to earn a lot of profits, you better create a special landing page for your web ads. Why? Here are a few reasons why you need to use landing pages for your web ads. And take note, it would do you a lot better if you create a great landing page than a so-so one.

Reason no. 1: It is the only way you earn conversions in an affiliate marketing program.

There are a variety of affiliate marketing programs today, but most of these programs let the merchant pay the affiliate in a pay per click basis. Basically, all you have to do is sign up with the program and submit your ad. The program owner would then distribute your ad to various affiliates who would then place your ad on their websites. Whenever your ad is clicked, a visitor would be directed to your landing page and you would have to pay the affiliate for his service.

As a merchant, you earn in an affiliate program through conversions, that is whenever a visitor that is directed to your site actually buys a product on your site. Without these conversions, you actually earn nothing from the program. Also, the more visitors that your affiliates have directed to your site, the larger would your expense be. And the only way that you can recover from these expenses is through conversions.

Now, you sure won’t get any conversion if you have posted an ad on your affiliate’s site without an actual landing page for the potential customer to be redirected into. It’s just like advertising a product without actually having a store to sell your product. Your advertisement may be enticing enough to encourage people to purchase a product, but without the landing page, how will they know how to purchase the product

It is therefore important to have landing pages for your ads because it is the only way for you to earn something in an affiliate program. Without landing pages, all you do is spend money paying your affiliates without actually getting anything in return.

Reason no. 2: Other web pages may just not be enough.

Many people make the mistake of making their website’s homepage as the landing page for their ads. The same is true for those who make use of other pages like a “contact us” page or a product page. Homepages are often designed to serve multiple users and contains a lot of links to other pages or to other websites. The same is with the other two pages mentioned. If you want to be successful in an affiliate program, we’re sure that you don’t want your landing page to cater to the needs of various people, most of which may not be really interested with your product.

When choosing a landing page, you must always have the customer directed into that page in mind. Therefore, your landing page must be relevant to the keywords and the contents you placed on your ad. It is also important that the landing page can induce your visitor to take actions, that is to purchase your product or at least provide leads for potential customers.

Final Word

You probably entered into an affiliate marketing program with these things in mind: to save on advertising expenses and to gain more profit. But if you get into an affiliate marketing program without actually having a landing page, you’ll end up paying too much without getting anything in return. So if you still don’t have a landing page for your ads, you better start creating one now. And don’t get us wrong; it isn’t enough for you to have just a landing page – it should be a great landing page!

Why High Converting Landing Pages Are The Key To Massive Internet Sales

There is no question that whatever product you want to sell on the internet, it has to be a good one otherwise you will receive plenty of calls for a refund. But assuming you do have a great product, the one thing that will result in higher internet sales for you is a high converting landing page.

Landing pages and microsites have the ability to get Google on their side and get noticed very quickly. They can also draw in exactly the type of people that will want to buy your product.

Why is this? The reason is simple. Landing pages are designed to promote a specific product, and microsites promote a very tight niche that may only sell a handful of products or services at most. What this means is that the content on each can concentrate on a very precise area. This in turn leads to using keywords and phrases that will get your website ranked much higher in Google and the other search engines than it would be if it was a more generic site.

You can generate a high volume of internet sales from landing pages and microsites if you know how to build them properly. There are certain elements of a landing page that result in excellent responses from the reader, and they can work equally well for microsites as well.

One of the most powerful things you can do to attract higher internet sales is to include testimonials. These strengthen whatever it is you are trying to sell because they demonstrate that other people have already bought and tried the product and have found it to be outstanding. This can remove some of the barriers that people might have when it comes to parting with their money to buy your product.

You also need to make sure you tell your visitors exactly what you want them to do. This is called a call to action. This might sound a little forceful though it really isn’t; in actual fact it is well known that if you steer your visitors towards your end goal you will achieve a higher take up rate as a result.

In order to create your own high converting landing pages and microsites and enjoy high internet sales it’s worthwhile studying ones that have been created by other people. Do not copy them, but use to identify the techniques and see how they can be applied to your own products when it comes to selling them online.

There is no doubt that Google and the other major search engines love landing pages and microsites because they are targeted towards a very specific group of people. The keywords and phrases you will naturally use on these pages will ensure that when your site is indexed you will start receiving traffic from the people who are most likely to actually buy what you are selling.

If Your Squeeze Page Doesn’t Convert 50% (Than Abort!)

You may think that as a beginner you need Squeeze Page Software to create your web page for list building. However, there are many options other than expensive software, and they are very easy for even the newest internet novice. Save yourself start up costs for list building with these tips.

1. First and foremost you need an autoresponder, and Aweber is one of the best. You can use it to create the form you will need to gather your visitor’s information, which will be added automatically to your Aweber autoresponder opt in list. You will also need a web hosting service for your site and a domain name.

2. Instead of buying expensive squeeze page software, see what templates your hosting service has to offer. Any website hosting service worth its salt will have many templates to choose from. Even if they are not designed to be used as Squeeze Pages, they may still be useful with the form you can copy and paste from Aweber.

3. Another alternative is to use free website creation software. You can easily create a site yourself using simple word processing and desktop publishing tools. Generally anyone who can use a menu driven program can use these free software packages.

4. If you are not feeling proficient enough to make your own pages using these methods, you can download free Squeeze Page Templates for use with the free web creation software. Even if you end up paying for the templates, this is much cheaper than purchasing the squeeze page software.

Creating a Free Online Gift for Your Squeeze Page

When marketing on the internet using a squeeze page that offers a free online gift is a great way to build a list. The gift is a way to entice visitors to leave their information but it needs to be something that is relative to what it is you are promoting. A great giveaway to use is normally some type of information product but you may not always have one available.

What we are going to discuss here today is how to create a great giveaway you can place on your squeeze page to help you build a list.

Write Articles

If you do not already submit articles to increase your business exposure you should do so since it is a very effective means of promoting online.

Take 5 to 10 articles you have written on a related subject and put them aside.

Arrange Your Articles

You now want to arrange these articles in some type of sequential order that makes sense. Now compile them all on one document using word or some reasonable facsimile to it.

Create a Header and Footer

This does not have to be anything fancy but just something that reflects either your name or the name of your business. Of course you want to be sure to include a link here  giving readers the opportunity to see it on every page.

Create a Title

Reviewing the ’summation’ of all your articles that you have combined fashion a title that best describes the content.

Break Content into Chapters

This should be a relatively easy task since you can use each article as a chapter.

Table of Contents

Create a table of contents for placement at the beginning of your ‘free’ information product. Simply use the ’sub-titles’ you created for every chapter here and you are good to go!

Add a Sales page Link

Place a link back to your sales page on the last page of your information product along with a brief description or pitch.

Convert into PDF Format

Take your ‘finished’ document and load it into a software program that will convert it into a PDF format for you. There are free versions of software online you can use to complete this task such as PrimoPDF.

Developing a free online gift you can use on your squeeze page is a great way to quickly build a list. The steps we reviewed today show how easy it is to put together an information product that you can use as a great giveaway when marketing on the internet. Whether it is for use on your squeeze page or for some other application you now see how easy it is to produce something like this on your own.

The great thing about the internet is it is filled with home based business opportunities to choose from. In any given day, a business opportunity can come and go. Because of this, it is vital you take the time to research and find the best program for you. But to save yourself a little bit of researching, have you looked into the new program Roadmap to Riches?

Roadmap to Riches is a new online business opportunity that has its members earning an incredible $999 per sale. And the best part about it is you can do this without making any personal phone calls, making any personal sales and without answering any questions for that matter. It sounds too good to be true, right?

Every entrepreneur dreams of getting into the internet industry and making money right away. For the most part, it is virtually impossible to “get rich quick” like many online programs claim. This automated marketing system consists of a six minute movie and a mini-site, Lead Capture Pages, and an auto-responder system to help you close your sales for you every day of the year.

If you want to go above and beyond, you should market on your own as well. Write articles about the program and submit them to article directories. Get into the forums and talk up how good the program is. Send out newsletters to as many people as you can. This is how you can go from making a $999 sell here and there to consistently making $999.

Landing Pages for Affiliate Marketers

Affiliate marketing is when an Internet marketer promotes products and services outside and earn a commission. Affiliate commissions can range from 2% to 75%. As you can see, this is a case very lucrative, because there are literally thousands and thousands of products that can promote affiliate marketing. It is not uncommon to hear affiliate claim incredible gains.

In the world of affiliate marketing, landing page is very important. Page destination is responsible for converting visitors to sales. If a user visits a page of landing and take no action, then the landing page has not complied. So let's take a look at what makes a good landing page.

1) Please note the catchy title.

The title is probably the most important element in a target page. If the owner is unable to capture the attention of visitors for the first time in one or two seconds, the visitor is, and it is very likely that he or she will never return. That means they have lost the opportunity to sell to a potential customer. Attention overall typing is to attract visitors to read the rest of the sales copy.

2) the sales results.

A good sales copy is compelling. But this is only convincing when he shows no all works sold. For example, if you try to sell an eBook that teaches people to lose weight, you must be able to provide proof that his techniques really work. You can provide testimonials from satisfied customers or a few case studies of real life. The case studies will undoubtedly your sales pitch, his most convincing.

3) Use of images and video.

Pictures capture the attention drive. But they are also a source of distraction of improper usage. Try to use images in some parts of the landing page that requires more attention. Avoid putting too much on images of the landing pages. If possible, avoid flickering images completely. The images and the red arrows running well to attract the attention of the reader. For example, if you try to alert the reader to a screenshot of the results, you can always use a red arrow pointing to screen capture.

Video is another way to convey their message. A video allows visitors to see and hear. Therefore, you seem more real to the visitor. This will build trust and credibility at least some are able to see behind case. They are more likely to buy from you because they remember best videos, and also because they know does not fly by night internet companies.

If you need help creating a landing page, you can always use a Landing Page Generator. A landing page generator to create a Landing Page Quality very quickly.

Landing Page Optimization Tim Ash

landing page optimization tim ash

Book Review – Landing Page Optimization by Tim Ash

There are a few books out there on landing page optimization. Optimizing your front page is a key aspect of having a powerful web design.

Here is a quick definition of landing page optimization:

Better conversions – the work you do to your web pages to increase the rate at which you get your readers to do what you want them to do after reading your web page.

If you begin with a 2% conversion rate and increase that to 3% you have increased your conversion rate by 50 percent.

There are many recommendations for the expensive ‘Landing Page Report’ published by MarketingSherpa. But at just under $500 this is simply too steep for many budgets.

Tim Ash’s new book is a very good alternative. In fact, it is probably a good idea to start with this book and make the decision if you need more information after reading it.

Tim’s book gives a very good outline of all aspects of landing page optimization and conversion and is divided into three sections:

  • Background – includes setting the stage and understanding your website and your audience
  • What and How to Tune – includes why your site needs a tune up, elements to tune, the math and methods of tuning
  • Getting it Done – includes building a team and an action plan as well as the pitfalls to avoid.

As a reader, you will appreciate covering the following points:

  • where to start and what to do,
  • the roles of the different team players,
  • the skills of each team player and their overlapping roles.

This book is totally business focused and all about getting more sales and keeping clients. You learn how to do the measurements and how to use them to improve your conversion.

This book is great to read if you are beginning to intermediate level.

The truth is, until you hit a 100% conversion rate you can always work on increasing your page conversion.

Tim reminds us all of the important things to do for good conversion, and draws our attention to the points we often skip over or need to come back to regularly.

I also particularly liked two parts:

  • His reminder of where to start – it makes you want to keep this book to check through every 6 months or so. As an inspiration to continually try to tweak your conversion and to verify that your website is still on course.
  • His take on deciding whether to outsource your conversion testing or not. As a marketer I know this is always a tough call.

This is a very easy to read book even for non-native English speakers.

The overview on tuning and multivariate testing sections represent half of one chapter. These are the only technical sections of the book. The rest is non technical and all is very well explained.

If this subject interests you, I’m sure you will want to read all of the 300 odd pages.

As Tim Ash says, this next year will see many companies studying their landing page optimization. Businesses always focus on all sorts of traffic acquisition and client retention strategies.

But most businesses tend to forget about the conversion process. Or at least they think they have worked on it, when in fact they have barely scraped the surface. Companies should give just as much attention to all aspects of conversion as they do acquisition and retention.

Using internet marketing to develop international sales is often thwarted due to bad international conversion. The game rules are the same for both domestic and international websites.

Spend some time developing, testing and adjusting good conversion strategies, and your skills will be good for both domestic and international clients.
