For PayPal Experts Only: Return URL’s?

How do I setup multiple Landing Pages
(the page my customer goes to after a successful payment)
for multiple domains with multiple products.

I want my customers to have a smooth professional transaction process when they purchase my digital products online but I am totally clueless how to set up this process for multiple domains.

I know how to go into my website payment preferences and setup a return url… my question is how do I configure multiple return urls… I don’t want my customers going to the same return url, I want them to land on the unique return url for the product and website they purchased it from.

If someone could provide me with step by step instructions on this i would be eternally grateful

If you’re using the PayPal web interface, you can only set up one return url.

If you want to have customized return urls, you will have to resort to manually generated payment buttons. Buttons are html forms with several hidden fields which specify the account, price, shipping info and the return url.

Will pointing a parked domain name to a existing website page help or hurt Google rankings?

Will pointing a parked domain (ex: “videogames.com”) to a existing product-specific page (video games) on our high ranking (PR6) website (ex: “arcadegames.com”) in any way penalize our existing Google ranking, and if not, will Google also pickup and index this new domain and its landing page and display it in searches for “video games” for both arcadegames.com and videogames.com ?

We are holding about 50 parked domains that specifically relate to products we sell online that are just pointed to our existing website’s home page, and we are thinking about now pointing these domains to product-specific pages within our site, if this makes sense and not affect our existing Google website and webpage ranking – Any Expert advise ?

It sounds like you have the domain names redirected to your homepage not actually parked pages that link to your homepage is that correct?

This is not a problem with the search engines as long as you are using 301 redirects. The 301 redirect tells the search engine the domain name directs to this site permanently so as not to cause confusion with duplicate content. It will not index both websites, just the main website that the redirects are pointing to.

And yes you can redirect to any page within your website that you want. It’s a very smart thing to do.
