Squeeze Page Designers

Why does Yahoo! try to make everyone use their lousy, oversized new home page when it clearly sucks?
Because the page really sucks. I mean, it’s enormous, as blocky as a Yugo, and forces people to look down the side for categories so they can squeeze more promos and ads into the top half. Only trolls are so transparently cynical as to design a page that way. Assuming Yahoo!’s web designers aren’t trolls or Martians or trogledytes, why would they annoy us with such drek and force us to go to Google for all our information and news? It’s bad enough that they give Ted Rall and Ann Coulter regular space on their news opinon pages to vent their spleens (especially Rall who we get a double dose of with his horribly drawn “cartoons”… Ted, invest in one of those art schools in TV Guide, and also, get a conscience… and a brain. At least Coulter is a ahead of you on that count and has a brain.)
Anyway, the new Yahoo! homepage really bites, and we shouldn’t be forced to use it as long as the old homepage is supported. And after that, it’s Google 24/7 for this annoyed user.
I personally love the new homepoage it was time for a change and i like it. Especially where it says your name when u log on, the weather is right there, u can see your buddies…. Don’t be mad cuz yahoo got bills too thats y they need Ads.

1.Focus on generating leads
The only purpose of a squeeze is to collect names and emails. You are to make sure that you do not alter this purpose to elsewhere. Remember that you are offering them a solution to their problem, sell them the problem, and sell them solution.
2.One niche for one squeeze page
There are tones of different niches out there, even if you are targeting one niche, there may be several sub-niche in the main niche itself. You may have to create different squeeze page for the sub-niche, as they have different terms and keywords in the sub-niche.
3.Headline: Sell or solve
The main purpose of the headline is to get the readers to continue to read the below wordings. You can either sell them the problem, or solve their problem in the headline.
4.Make the Squeeze Page Design simple
It is better if the background is white with black wording, you encourage the visitors to read on what you want to tell them and still maintain the professional look of your squeeze page. Do not add in colourful graphics, simple looking graphic is fine. The colour of the headline and sub-headline can be of different colour, make sure the colour you choose blends well for your squeeze page background.
5.Use psychological words that move them
Use words like proven, guaranteed, proven, absolutely, shocking, truth, etc. Use these words lightly in your squeeze page, spread them around the squeeze page.
6.Call to Action
This is the closing questions, once the visitor reads the benefits of joining your newsletter, or get free ebook. A call to action button is essential for your squeeze page, you may want to place an arrow pointing to the opt in box too, this will increase the chances of the visitor giving you their name and email.
7.Use urgency to your advantage
Time urgency and fear of not losing out are two of the best way to drive your visitor to subscribe to you. Make sure that this is a genuine offer, if not you will lose your credibility. Tell them that this is a limited time offer only, or what they will miss out if they do not take action now.
8.Reveal yourself
Sometimes it is best to show yourself to the readers that you are real, a video in this case will work very well. With you telling them about their problems, what you can give them in return, and a call to action. If you do not want to show yourself it is still okay, your signature will still get the job done.
These are some of the tips for you in creating a squeeze page, and lastly re-read your squeeze page, till the whole squeeze page is in a flow.
