Are You Squeezing Your List Building Efforts?
Would you be able to sell anything online if you had a page with one paragraph?
Unless you are selling tickets for a dip in the fountain of youth, your chances are slim at best. People always want to know the benefits of your product before they will spend their hard earn money on it.
With this in mind, I always find it quite interesting that so few marketers use a Squeeze Page to build their lists. No matter what niche you are marketing in, the conversion rates using this strategy are overwhelming. A good squeeze page can convert around 50% of your visitors onto your list (if the traffic is of course targeted).
The problem is, most marketers have no idea how to build an effective squeeze page that will pull in subscribers like bees to honey. This is because they assume that since what they are offering is free, people will be falling all over themselves to give up their emails, no matter how bad the offer is presented. This couldn’t be further from the truth, trust me.
You want to “sell” your visitor on your free report, newsletter, e-course etc. just like it was a paid product. Therefore, the rules to creating an effective squeeze page are similar to those used for any sales page.
People generally sleepwalk through life and studies show you only have seven seconds to grab their attention. So you need to start with an attention-grabbing headline that draws your visitor in, smacks them around and wakes them up from their slumber.
If your headline does it’s job, then it is time to explain how your free product will help the visitor. Briefly use bullet points to explain the benefits the visitor will gain when they subscribe to your newsletter or request your free report or e-course. Remember; keep it short, because most people have very short attention spans.
Last but not least is your call to action. Describe to your prospect how they can instantly grab your free report by filling out the web form. Be sure to change the text on the submission button to something that will keep your visitor excited. An example of this would be, “Click Here For Free Instant Download!” Changing this text on my Squeeze Pages has boosted my subscription rate by almost 27%, believe it or not.
So now you can see that creating the perfect squeeze page doesn’t have to be difficult, but it does take some work.
Remember to test, test and test some more. If you are converting at 50%, continue to test until you are as close to 100% conversion as possible. Tweak your headline, background colors, font text and colors and you will be shocked at how such small changes can radically improve your subscription conversions.

Use Ebay to Advertise Your Internet Business With an About Me Page
If you are able to use eBay to advertise your internet business with an About Me page, then you have a non-sleeping partner that will help to make you money even while you yourself sleep. If this sounds a bit unlikely, then sit back and listen up, because this technique is used by some of the world’s richest eBay users to boost their online businesses, even if they have nothing to do with eBay.
I can hear the cogs and wheels in your brain whirling round about that. How can you use eBay to advertise a business that has nothing to do with eBay? The answer to that likes in a little used feature of eBay that is not widely advertised, but that the better internet marketers know about and can take full advantage of, even though eBay might be only a very minor part of their business.
Before this secret is revealed, let’s have a look at an average online business. EBay can be used to make money in a number different ways; although each involves publishing an eBay listing on the site for the product or service you are selling. You can sell new goods that you purchase at one price and sell at a higher price. You can buy at wholesale prices and sell at individual retail prices to make a profit. You can even dropship, buying individual products at a wholesale price, and then having the merchant deliver the product once you have paid them from the buyer’s payment to you.
Whichever of these ways you use to make money on eBay, you can include a link to your About Me page on your listing. This is a page that eBay allows you to design to your own specifications, and as long as you are not advertising products that you are not selling on eBay, you can use it to lead visitors to a non-eBay website. This is particularly useful if you have your own website.
The About Me page is an html page that can include the following:
Your website URL, or the URL to any page on your website. There is no limit to the number of URLs you can provide. You can provide your Feedback record, and details of other products you are selling on eBay, including your eBay store. You can also offer useful information, such as mini-tips or links to useful info-sites (e.g. yours!).
It doesn’t take too many brain cells to see how such a page can be used to your advantage, and the various ways in which you can use it. Don’t break eBay rules in using it, but it really is easy to advertise your own websites – as many as you want. This is because you can change your page every now and again.
Even if you have no website, get one. Offer anything on it that will earn you money, even an affiliate product or simply use it as a squeeze page to offer a newsletter which is within eBay guidelines. You can even add pictures, audio and video to your About Me page.
A link to the page can be placed anywhere in your listing that suits you. You can only have one About Me page, but are allowed to modify it as often as you want, so you can change it daily if you want to promote a different website each day. Everybody that clicks on your listing to see your description will see your About Me link, and you can use words in your listing to ensure the click-through.
It is used by very few eBay sellers, and now that you know how to use eBay to advertise your internet business with an About Me page then your traffic should increase in line with the traffic you attract to your eBay listing. It is a very small price for traffic that would cost a fortune in PPC costs.

I am a Teamster here on the West Coast with a rep who hasn’t a backbone, I have to squeeze information out of him. He’s been through many Labor Arbitrations yet he gives me very little on a timetable, just something to know what is happening on my case. I have my Lawyers Brief if their is a East Coast Teamster Rep that would give me the courtesy of reading a few pages and give me an idea of how My Big Brother Teamsters would handle my case. I would appreciatte it very much! When I was in the service I learned and got a good feel for how much more united the Teamster Brotherhood is on the East Coast. You see out here our supervisors are in the union and it was my supervisor who left me to hang! After my case is ruled on I believe I have a good case for kicking his ass out of the Teamsters Brotherhood!
70 days is impossible , there is no doubt the rep is incompetent . file with headquaters . would your rep want to wait 70 days no . live in canada west coast teamsters have dropped seniotity completly . you will have to go through headquaters . what caused teamsters problems west coast , the movie industry moving into canada . 70 days is in competence thank you
