In one of my blog posts, I recommended a tool that I use to explain the Network Marketing business to my prospects. In case you missed it you can see the blog post here:

This subject is very important to success, so I thought I better spend a little time explaining my system.

So I want to cover the three legs of a basic Internet MLM Lead Generation System. This is called the “Pipeline Technique”…

These 3 legs are:
- A Lead Capture Page
- The Auto Responder
- A Blog for Branding

These are the only three things that you need to set- up for a great a system that converts prospects into new associates.

The Lead Capture Page (“Squeeze or Gateway Page”)
This is simply a web page that has a single focus – to get people to subscribe to your list, or to squeeze their information like name, email, phone number etc…

The Auto Responder
As we know or should know, an important aspect of marketing online is branding yourself and your system. A blog is a very simple way of generating content in the form of articles that allow you to brand yourself and your system over time. It is probably the easiest way to build your own web site and will also generate visitors from the search engines over time.

I don’t have time in this post to fully explain how to setup and use these three components, I will however be covering these parts in detail in a future article.

So back to how I integrate the presentation available at http://7greatlies.eoltt.com/ - since several people may have questions about how I use it.

The auto responder is simply a service that allows you to very easily email your list of subscribers. You can load a series of emails into this system and they will be delivered automatically at a preset interval. I recommend using a quality autoresponder. Don’t try to host this yourself.

A Blog for Branding
As we know or should know, an important aspect of marketing online is branding yourself and your system. A blog is a very simple way of generating content in the form of articles that allow you to brand yourself and your system over time. It is probably the easiest way to build your own web site and will also generate visitors from the search engines over time.

I don’t have time in this post to fully explain how to setup and use these three components, I will however be covering these parts in detail in a future article.

So back to how I integrate the presentation, since I know several people have questions about how I use it.

For my warm market I have a business card that simply has my unique address printed on it. If I meet someone that wants to know more about the business, I give them a card and they go check out the site.

I also use if for prospecting on the internet. Immediately after someone subscribes to my list on my CAPTURE PAGE, they are sent an email with the link to a free e-book in it. So the first thing they are exposed to is a very high quality presentation on why network marketing makes so much sense.

From that point on, they are typically already sold on the business model, and it then a simple manner of explaining our system and our company to them. This and the other system I use are very simple to set up and generate very responsive leads!

So once again – I highly recommend finding good tools and then leverage the tools to do the explaining for you.

The trick is lies in using a combination of both methods – free and paid – to get you those miraculous figures for the number of hits to your website, which in turn, means more sales.

Do not make your review site look like thrown together within 10 minutes. If you were potential buyer, would you trust a site designed poorly? Get a neat, professional-looking landing page! And another thing, it would be better you add “terms of use” and “privacy policy” to your site and make them visible to your visitors. This really help!

9. Reviews or Visitor Comments!

If you are using a review site as a landing page, please add visitor reviews or comments if possible. Generally a visitor will need suggestions from people who are currently using or recently used the products or service. Enable your visitors to leave comments is an advantage of review sites. I recommend you to use WordPress to build review site. It is the easiest way to build review sites.  

10. Star Ratings

Add star ratings to every products or service you are promoting! It is preferable to place ratings together with every sales copy of products or service. Put highest rating product in the first place, and other products by descending! In the end of the review site, give a summary of your reviews and recommend again the “top pick product”!

Making money on the Internet, not quite free

To make money on the Internet is not about spending hard earned money out of your pocket, to gamble on an online venture, in the hope of making millions of bucks online.

At the best only spend a percentage of profits from the online venture. The truth is that money can be forthcoming from an online presence, but the major preparation involving an Internet presence must be accomplished before the stage of spending the hard earned cash out of your own pocket.

The vast majority of online ventures will not be successful, for a multitude of unknown reasons. The successful Internet entrepreneur will identify a niche area for success and exploit the niche market for all its worth. But very rarely, will the successful entrepreneur, who is genuinely earning a living on the Internet, will be successful in their first attempt.

  To be successful on the Internet and earn money, the first understanding must be to identify the niche market. The marketer must identify a product that the Internet buyer has a necessity to buy. Various methods are available to determine which products are in buying fashion on the Internet, although, research and correct marketing must be conducted to evaluate the potential marketing possibilities.

When all said and done, I will always suggest that the most successful products to sell on the Internet are websites selling software downloads – ebooks, utilities, etc. The fact that download websites involve most importantly, instant gratification to the buyer, which is important to the buyer, as if allowing the buyer to visit any website selling another type of product, the possibility that buyer some other useful product which will give instant gratification.

So without hesitation, I would consider as a good starter website being a software download website. One of the main reasons in selecting an instant software download website is the fact that once the relatively easy task of creating the website that is unique and not duplicated on the Internet, the hard work to advertise, promote and market the downloadable website begins.

Now more importantly, don’t believe that buying a cheap template website on eBay, and expect the major search engines, to rank the cheap template which is replicated millions of times on the Internet, to achieve or sustain the number one position in Yahoo or Google search engines.

Yahoo and Google insist on unique and non replicated website content. Their search engine algorithms will not allow replicated template websites to be indexed, instead the website will be ‘sandboxed’, and remain useless as a money maker for the poor buyer who bought it. The only profiteer will be the seller on eBay, who have probably sold hundreds of exactly the same template.

I have gained my expertise not from a university degree of computer studies – I am a graduate in social studies, instead I have research and studied the subject matter on the Internet, and purchased books on the subjects involving website creation and effective SEO and marketing.

The technique I have perfected is to find a free website template, I have a collection of millions of website templates, they can be bought in bulk off eBay auction for a few dollars, and with website scripts, purchased for under twenty dollars – they can be reused thousands of times on website templates, and create a unique instant downloadable website.

The website scripts are recommended as they will reduce the work involved in recreating the free template, as the script contains a small program, which will automate the particular upgrade to the template. To give an example, a website script which will create a download store automatically, without knowing a word of html or php coding. This script will generate the software download website, and more amazing, it is simple to use.

To create a money making website, the website must be popular, and when we consider popularity concerning a website with regards to search engines, the are specifically mean back links.

Back links must be from websites which is relevant to your websites keywords, and even more importantly, the back linked websites to your website, must be of a higher ranking than your website. Failure to adhere to these search engine algorithms will result in the offending website – yours, being demoted in the search engine rankings or even worse, your website being ‘sandboxed’, or banned altogether from the major search engine rankings and indexing. Unfortunately you will not be aware of the search engine sanctions.

Take extra care and selection of conducting back links to websites, as any mistakes can be extremely costly, and once your website is ‘sandboxed’ in reality it is not known for certain, whether the website, will ever be re indexed. There are some rumours that suggest the ‘sandboxed’ website will be re instated in six to twelve months, but one thing is certain, the major search engines is tight lipped about this issue.

The second way to attract targeted visitors is to create unique articles, similar this article, and submit the unique article to Article Submission Websites. Include your website links in the Author Bio, and as the unique article is distributed throughout the Internet, one the back links are generated, indexed by the two major search engines. In addition, the article reader have direct access to your website, if clicked will receive a visitor who is interested to buy your product – targeted visitor.

Creating unique articles is an excellent technique for developing back links to your website, but insist the articles must be unique and of the highest quality. Some of the best Article Submission Websites, rightly with check the article prior to publishing, to ascertain the uniqueness and relevancy of the content.

Tips on Creating a Landing Page

If you use a Landing Page Templates or basic format, it truly speeds up the process of making them. Landing-pages are a fast and simple method of informing your potential customers and helping them along in the middle to purchasing. It is simply a single page advert with option to buy or links to the product selling page you are selling.

I’ve written before about the basic layout of landing page, using your adaptation of this method will enable you to focus on your talent. Often creative people need this framework, it’s a bit like writing, I find if I stop to spell check all the time it becomes tough work and doesn’t flow. The template makes sure you have all the important parts to make it easy for them to buy what you are selling, similar to a checklist.

If you buy a landing page templates, possibilities are that you get a page which has heaps of instructions to’place your title here’,'put your bullet points here’ and so on .

Sometimes that is’s just about as bad as having to come up with your own landing page templates from scratch! Just what do you put in those boxes?

The title is your principal opportunity to grab your reader’s attention. If you don’t have a punchy headline, possibilities are your reader will click the back button and be gone forever.

What draws your attention?

It’s generally the headlines. They offer mystery and intrigue. Providing they are well written, they make you would like to read further, even if you are not completely interested by the subject.

if you are stuck for words for your landing page headline, go for some of the proven phrases. ‘7 secrets You Never Knew About …’, that kind of thing. There are title generator programs and books available which will give you lots more ideas.

After your headline, you want some bullet points.

* List out the main benefits your clients will get from your products
* Give them a reason why your service or product is much better than anyone else’s
* Offer them something free in exchange for letting you have their e-mail

eventually, place your email sign up form somewhere apparent. Ideally keep it’above the fold’ so your user doesn’t have to scroll down the net page to find it. That is’s why on a lot of landing page templates you see will have a title at the top, a listing of bullet points on the left and a signup box on the right. This keeps them nice and compact and increases the likelihood of customers enrolling.

If you are anything like me, site design is a pain. However I really feel it’s vital to know a little bit to web site creation if you want a presence on the web. In this article I’ll explain how anyone can make a profit pulling website using totally free resources online which Google loves.

The award goes to Squidoo. I’m a massive fan of Squidoo for a range of reasons.

Squidoo permits you to make a selling page to build your list or simply to study a product as an affiliate. Done properly Squidoo is an absolute critical to your affiliate arsenal. Here are a range of reasons why you must use Squidoo as an affiliate :

one. You can get a Google ranking as long as you target the right keyphrases and update your lens.

three. You can sell and promote yourself without any restrictions.

I know from some of my subscribers that cost is an element when starting out. Squidoo is my advice because it’s incredibly flexible and tough in Google’s eyes.

If you master Squidoo you can begin to build a significant income. However it’s not a case of simply making a landing page. Ping and pitch your lens. Create a blog on your niche and link to your Squidoo lander page. Post comments on other races lenses, and you will start to see some traffic.

Do this doggedly and watch your traffic grow. Afterall sending traffic to a high converting offer is what good marketing is all about. When thinking about creating an online income for yourself through affiliate marketing, you’ll hear these words coming from the so-called internet experts like a broken record “you must have a landing page”.  Well, the experts are WRONG, they don’t work.

If youre like most entrepreneurs or small business owners that are new to marketing their business online, you are probably feeling like (a) you have no idea where to start, or how to do all the technical stuff you need to do, or (b) you are overwhelmed by all of the information out there and feel like youll never get it all done. In the hopes of relieving any stress and confusion about all of this Internet stuff, I am going to provide you with an overview of the fundamental tools that you will need to get in place to have an effective online presence, and explain why you need them (so you dont feel like you are wasting your time).

First of all, since you are even considering having an Internet presence for your business, congratulations, because over half of businesses between $100,000 – $1,000,000 in sales dont even have a website, according to Gardner Research!

Here are the 5 Fundamental Tools that you should have for your business to use the Internet effectively:

1. A Blog or Website This is the front door for your business, so you want it to be professional looking and informative, so that prospects arent turned off. Using a website template or an old website built in 1999 will look like just that and sends a subtle message to prospects that you arent on top of things. To get started, register a domain name at a registrar like GoDaddy (itll only cost you about $10 a year to own the domain name, and about $5 a month to host your website at that address). Then, use a free blogging platform like the one at Wordpress.org or Blogger to have a site that is professional looking and super easy to update. (Search engines like Google love fresh content!) For the record, I use Wordpress and am a huge supporter of Wordpress over any other blogging platform. Be sure to use Wordpress.org, not Wordpress.com. Both are free, but Wordpress.org is much more flexible and robust.

2. Online Videos Youll want to use some short, 1-2 minute videos to promote your business online. You can shoot these with almost any digital camera on the market today. The reason you want to use videos is that it is the next best thing to actually meeting your prospects in person. The bottom line is that on the Internet, video is the fastest way to build trust with your prospects. And, they have to trust you before they will buy from you! Good topics for your short videos are things like current promotions you are running, the benefits of using your products or services, and how to use your products. Then, create a free account at YouTube and upload your videos. Once on YouTube, you can copy and paste the code in the Embed box from YouTube to you Wordpress blog or other website, and the videos will show up on your blog or website for free!

3. Email Autoresponders This is really just a fancy term for a simple system that sends out a series of emails to your customer list. If you have ever signed up for a free report or anything like that online, you have no doubt received a bunch of emails from the person over the course of the next few weeks thats an email autoresponder. The reason you want to be using these systems is that you will stay top-of-mind with your customers and prospects and build more trust with them if you send them good, useful information. You can set up an account very inexpensively at sites like iContact and ConstantContact (in the neighborhood of $10-15 a month!) I have used both iContact and Constant Contact (as well as other systems like Aweber and 1ShoppingCart) and I highly recommend iContact unless you are trying to do some really complicated stuff, which Im assuming you are not, for purposes of this article.

4. Squeeze Pages A Squeeze Page is one of those sites that you have no doubt seen online where there is a box where you can enter your name and email address. Typically, you are asked to do this in exchange for something of value, such as a free report or a subscription to a weekly newsletter. This is a great technique that you can use in your market to find new prospects. And, it is very inexpensive marketing! You can set up a squeeze page as a separate page within your blog or website, or you can put one on its own domain name. And, the cool thing is, the email autoresponder service (e.g. iContact) will automatically generate the code you need to have one of those opt-in boxes on your website, so you can just copy and paste the code into your site and it will show up. No technical knowledge needed, just copy and paste! Heres an extra tip about squeeze pages: In order for them to convince a high percentage of people to actually give you their email addresses, you need to offer a super-compelling bonus. For example, 10-page ebooks just are not cutting it anymore. However, a 200-page ebook, or access to 2 hours of video training online, would probably do the trick!

5. Social Networking Since so many people are joining social networking sites like Facebook and LinkedIn every day, why not take a few minutes to set up your account and profile on these sites. This way, people that are your friends can refer you to their other friends, and before you know it, you will have massively widened your net online. Make sure you remember to put your web address prominently in your profiles so that it is easy for people on social networking sites to jump over to your website! Also, people on these sites can search for things that they need, so if you are an auto mechanic in Cleveland, mention those keywords throughout your profile and in your updates so that you can be found by interested prospects! These sites are free and growing fast, so you might as well get yourself positioned on them now. A tip to enhance your results on Facebook: Set up a Fan Page for your business within your regular personal Facebook account. Then, as you attract Fans to your business, you can mass-communicate to them through Facebook in a way similar to email marketing blasts. Also, be sure to offer them exclusive discounts and content, or otherwise make them feel special for being your Fan on Facebook. You want them to have reason to stick around and keep coming back for more!

To summarize, you dont need any particular technical skills to be able to have an effective online presence, and you dont need a big budget. If you have access to the Internet, can read and write, and can do things like create Microsoft Word documents and send emails, then you are at the level that you can start having real success online. For under $200 a year, and just spending a few hours of your time every month, you can implement all of the 5 fundamental tools I mentioned in this article! The Internet can be used for very low cost, guerrilla-style marketing, with a very high return on investment. The important thing is, just get started, focus on one thing at a time, and make sure you get the fundamentals right!

building a simple website?

What’s the easiest way to build a really simple webpage? I found loads of sites offering templates etc, but even they seem more complicated and cluttered for what I want. I teach drums, and want one landing page that has basic details, maybe a couple of photos, and/or links to video clips. Any advice gratefully received!
